The most crucial point is that now if Democrats propose legislation which would be tremendous benefit to Americans, the Republicans see that as a disastrous consequence for them, and so will do everything to kill such legislation. Case in point is the current infrastructure legislation proposed. In my estimation, this is the most beneficial legislation for Americans proposed since Social Security and Medicare. It is no surprise that Re

The underrepresentation of African Americans in tech has long been an issue and even today, many tech companies still struggle to address the lack of diversity in their hiring practices. This trend can be traced back as far as the 1970s when California's Bay Area became referred to and known as "Silicon Valley". Tech companies like Hewlett Packard, Xerox, followed by Facebook, Apple, and Google found a home in Northern Cali, yet few knowledgeable, capable Black IT, programmers, coders, and tech

Advocacy in black race has not really gotten the best of concern, accolades and support. Basically, it is because, maybe, the understanding about it is low or because to most humans in that race, any and everything should be and addressed with the same gloves used in contemporary politics. In other climes, advocacy groups pose as hope lines for the people and society. Advocacy groups speak for the people, put the government in check, make the government accountable t

Some businesses are 100% Black-owned and operated, like this platform. These brands outright identify as having Black founders and CEOs. Brands I love like Capital City Mambo Sauce, Uncle Ray's Products, and clothes from Black Vibe Tribe or hair care products from Black Naps (Natural and Proud Sistas).

Then some brands are majority-owned. Consider Tristan Walker who sold his multimillion-dollar men's grooming brand Bevel to Procter & Gamble in 2018 yet still remains the company's CEO. Rockstar

White racists hate black people and the knee-jerk reaction is to hate them back. This is the typical reaction  that our culture produces. Wait a minute. We are in a very desperate situation and as such knee-jerk reactions should give way to carefully thought-out  strategy.
