I feel our pain because of the slaughter of our nine sisters and brothers by a white terrorist who carried out a failed military mission in an attempt to spark the start of a genocidal war against the African American population.
Yet in his failure and because of the results of his actions nine human beings went f
This executive order process reminds me of the process of how the Emancipation Proclamation was done! There were no negotiations between the enlavers and the enslaved!! The result then was that we were so-called freed, dead broke without brick, bread or thread, and with no choice but to stay "unfree" notwithstanding the 13th Amendment!! I often hear my white conservatives counterparts say that blacks think that the “America owes them something” and that blacks only want entitlements. They make it sound as if America has given blacks everything that they currently have and that blacks have contributed nothing in return.
So What Did America Give Us?
A. Conservative whites who imply that America gave these ungrateful blacks everything, often boast that they gave blacks “freedom.” Freedom was what blacks had before they were en
