Born in Harlem New York and raised partially in the Bronx New York and later Teaneck NJ, by a struggling single mother, Kamal was almost naturally entangled in a world where it seemed that everything was against him. His world was a dangerous one.
With his mother fainting and having nervous breakdowns due to overwhelming stress, Kamal was left to

The Hidden Sin (Did Slavery End in 1865?)

How many of you were taught that Slavery ended in 1865? How many of you have been told "Slavery was hundreds of years ago, you weren't a slave and it doesn't affect you so get over it!" Well after you watch this, you won't believe what you find out. One of the things that you will discover will blow you away!! Did you know that there were Black people held in Chattel Slavery all the way into 1942 in the United States? Well yes it TRUE and that's just the

The%2BCosby%2BSaga-Pt1-Racial%2BBias-Jury.png?width=320NB Commentary: Personally, I don't think it's about race. I am sure they will be hard pressed to find a jury that either didn't hear about the allegations or never heard of Bill Cosby. I mean next to Oprah and Barack Obama, what other internationally known Black person have we heard of coming out of Hollywood especially during those days. Not to mention his TV series and commercials. If anything, folks will be more lenient even tolerant or maybe even disbelieving in the allegations due to his no

The%2BCosby%2BSaga-Intro.png?width=320NB Commentary: Bill Cosby is about to be back in the news. After a little over a year or so, the media attention will be focused on him once again. Unless of course they give us something else to focus on. Which is quite likely.

I am going to create a video playlist… and hopefully I won't get too distracted from this project. But I have written several blogs on this topic and I wish to share my thoughts with you on some of the topics that I covered in my blog.
This is a weird adventure for me beca

This story has taken the Internet and social media by storm. I think that a lot of issues have arisen as a result of it, but to me the most important issue is to see what is happening in the home with these young people. The fact that most if not all of them are runaways speaks to a deeper problem in the Black community.
There's no denying that child trafficking and sex trafficking of young people is a serious problem, and with all the hooplah around Pizzagate and to a more serious degree Pedo-ga

Y'all remember the movie "Brown Sugar", right? Sanaa Lathan and Taye Diggs play besties who bond over hip-hop. Sanaa's character is a self-assured and serious hip-hop head named Sydney who is appointed a high-powered position at hip-hop magazine XXL. By the end of the movie, she finds love (where it usually is - right in front of her the whole damn time) and decides to step out on her own and start her own magazine.

Well guess what? I met a real life maven in the music media industry! Kira Ming i

For DaVonna May, fashion has been her passion and now it is a career. I stumbled across the BellaDonna PrimaDonna Instagram page over a year ago and noticed immediately based on the items she had available for purchase, this was an entrepreneur who has a serious eye for accessories. When I reached out to her, we spoke on the phone and she immediately confirmed my suspicions. DaVonna is an artist - this woman has worked with various photographers and creative directors for music videos, commercia

NB Commentary: I attended a predominately white high school and college. Them white folks loved to say they were French, German and Italian mixed. They knew their mother's lineage and their father's. They would tell you that before they would even say "American". They were proud of their heritage even if they had been here four or 5 generations. Some of them knew their names before they changed them to more Anglo names, particularly the Polish, Russian and Germans.

NB Commentary: Okay Folks, this is one topic I really hesitated to weigh in on. But as usual, I get signs from the Universe as to what should be the next topic of my YouTube videos. It's quite magical how it works and I simply go with the flow.
I am not sure how long this video will end up being. I would like to say that this will be a short video, but I doubt that I can keep to that promise. I hope that you all will stay with me and follow my train of thought all the way to the conclusion.

Interesting twist on this rumor of Michelle being born a man. Blurring of gender lines is an interesting topic that I want to tackle in my own video. But suffice it to say, there is still a level of naiveté' on your part as it relates to body types, and what's feminine and what's masculine. I can see your point about branding, but, I am not too sure if I agree with it to the extent that you are portraying in this video.

There's a much deeper issue going on when it come

The Shame of the Civil Rights Movement

Leaders of the Civil Rights Movement are colluding with media to rewrite history – yes, rewrite history.  Both entities assert that all of Black activism during the 1960s and 1970s was part of the Civil Rights Movement.  They have even coined the period, the Civil Rights Era.  There were other movements going on during the same period as the Civil Rights Movement.  Just as (some say) the Civil Rights Movement is the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Black Power Movement is the lega

BLACKS ARE GLUTTONS FOR PUNISHMENT

AND THERE IS NO QUESTION ABOUT IT!

AT SOME POINT BLACKS HAVE TO WAKE UP!

If Blacks want justice, don’t vote for crooks!

If Blacks want to vote for someone with a track record of compassion for Blacks, it isn’t Clinton.

If Blacks want a person to end this inferior lifestyle it isn’t Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton has never done ANYTHING for Blacks.  She talks a good game, but without substance.  Her husband, Bill Clinton, ended programs that aided Blacks just so

When I was in elementary school, I couldn’t find history books on Slavery.  Regrettably, I was left to imagine what Slave life entailed on plantations in the Big House and in the fields of burning hot sun - the places where Black captives, stolen from the shores of Africa, endured their lives and their fate for generations.

It’s hard for people to believe that it was GOD’s WILL for enslavement such as ours to fall on a “race” of people who became proverbs and bywords in the “Four Corners of the

HE SURVIVED!

Micah%2BXavier%2BJohnson-2.jpg?width=320I had this dream, July 19, 2016 at around 4 AM. I got up and wrote it all out. I didn't want to forget a single part of it. It was truly surreal. I typically title my dreams so I am calling this one........

He Survived.

Micah Xavier Johnson
His body was so stiff and completely covered with blood. His brown shirt and khaki pants were a mess. I had never seen anything like it. They just left his body there, didn't even bothered to contact his family so that he could have a proper
