MESSAGE TO THE PAN AFRICAN COMMUNITY
On October 21-22, 2010, a very important meeting was held in New York City hosted by The AfricanUnion delegation to the United Nations. That gathering was important for a number of reasons, one of which is that it was the most recent attempt by the AU to reach out to elements of the African descendant community in the USA regarding bringing the African Diaspora into a sustained partnership with the AU. The publisher of Sarah Palin's forthcoming book filed a lawsuit against Gawker Media on Friday for leaking pages of "America By Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag" before its release next week.
The legal complaint was filed Friday in federal court in Manhattan, said a spokeswoman for HarperCollins Publishers. The filing came two days after Gawker published images of 21 of the book's pages and its dedication page. In response, Palin tweeted, "Isn't that illegal?"

The only legal options that were considered by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, a federal court immediately below the US Supreme Court, at the November 9 hearing were whether Mumia Abu-Jamal is to be executed or get life in prison without parole. Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash said the he and his wife, Alejandra, who gave birth to their son on Friday, are in the process of a divorce.
