The Un-Abolishable N-Word

By EZRAH AHARONE 8/10 --

To pacify society, “Media Band-Aids” are constantly placed on open wounds of unhealed racism as the Shirley Sherrod incident demonstrated. Although the William Morris Agency dropped Mel Gibson for spewing the N-Word among other rants, Leonard Rowe’s new Michael Jackson book shows Morris executives using the N-Word 232 times in emails he uncovered during a racial lawsuit. And Omar Thornton tragically killed 8 co-workers and himself after allegedly being fired for stealing

THE BLACK BOOK II

From Hajji Malik Al-Shabazz to Barack Obama

Dr. Y. N. Kly

SYNOPSIS
The time has come for a realistic political dialogue between the American
national minorities and the dominant Anglo-American ethny.
The problematic that arises in what American presidents Clinton and Obama
have repeatedly called a “one-nation one-state” political system is: how will the
state assure and protect the unique needs and interests of its minorities,
particularly its historically oppressed national

Volt_-_Sidebar_-_web_version02Main.jpg

Today President Obama visited a U.S. auto plant that makes the battery-poweredChevrolet Volt. Some analysts think the Volt could revitalize the struggling American auto industry with its high-tech battery component and environmentally friendly power source.

However, what is not known to the American public or the world is that the Volt's lead designer is Mr. Jelani Aliyu, a Nigerian. In 2007, General Motors brought Mr. Aliyu to New York, and invited the African Sun Times Publisher to a dinner

What A Strange Webb, He Weaved

July 29, 2010

Raynard Jackson

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!” This famous quote is from the Scottish author and novelist, Walter Scott’s epic novel, Marmion (published in 1808). This is a very appropriate quote in response to the editorial Virginia senator, Jim Webb had published in last Friday’s Wall Street Journal (http://www.jameswebb.com/articles/wsj-diversity.html).

His editorial was titled, “Diversity and the Myth of White Privilege.” I am in total agreeme

Comment on Marvin X's Pull Yo Pants Up fada Black Prez, and Yo Self, Essays on Obama Drama

Marvin X is on the mark again with his accurate observation of the Obama era. The black community was so excited with Obama being the first Black Prez that they forgot he was a politician-not a messiah. Marvin X brings the community back to the reality of what Obama stands for-at the moment!

He has not given up on Da Prez, he simply wants people to see

Parable of Pull Yo Pants Up fada Prez and Yoself

Ideally,Plato Negro would like to cause a paradigm shift in youth culture.Using his hometown, Oakland, as a Model City, in the lingo of Mayor RonDellums, we want the youth of Oakland to serve as a model of radicalyouth behavior by pulling up their pants and their minds, and at thesame time we want the City of Oakland to pull up its pants byrearranging its budget wherein presently 75% of the budget goes topolice and the fire d

America In Red, White and You

July 22, 2010

Raynard Jackson

During the past two weeks, Americans has once again been forced to confront our intractable issue of race—live and in living color. Regular readers of my column are well aware of my writing modus operandi. My job is not to make you agree with what I write, but rather to make you get beyond your personal biases (and we all have them) and to consider another point of view.

If, after having read my column, it motivates you to discuss what I wrote with a friend or colleag

The Psycho-Academic War Against Black Boys

"DRUGS & JAIL WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS" - THE PSYCHO-ACADEMIC WAR AGAINST BLACK BOYS -

By Umar R. Abdullah-Johnson -

The professional nomenclature has now become household words. Children as young as six can now speak of "Ritalin," and "ADHD" with stunning efficiency of what these words mean. Teachers and principals are telling single-parent mothers that their sons need "CYCLERT" and "ADDERALL." Special education children are telling their instructors that they cannot be suspended from school for

Yes, forget about theindigenous people trying to come to Gringo land, North America. We needto at least look and study political/economic events below our border. We are not suggesting a migration south, only a mental refocus to aidour own physical and metaphysical condition. In our provincial andproscribed state of mind, we are knee deep in the muck and mire ofBabylon, and yet as oppressed people we surely share more with ouroppressed
