  • City-Wide NYCHA Residents March Demanding Funding For NYCHA Without Privitization

  • Oct 18, 2019 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm
  • Location: Holmes Towers to Gracie Mansion
  • Description:
3829015225?profile=originalThough there's never a shortage of funding for police, prisons, the military, and tax cuts for the rich, when it comes to investing in public housing, schools, or healthcare, we're always told there's never enough.  In fact, for decades, city, state, and federal governments all slashed funding for HUD and NYCHA, creating major disinvestment, slum-like conditions, and the deficit we see in NYCHA today.

Until recently, NYCHA even paid the NYPD $75 million annually out of the NYCHA budget for the NYPD to conduct vertical patrols in NYCHA developments--essentially stealing much-needed funding from NYCHA to pay for the kind of policing that led to the murder of Akai Gurley in 2014.

NYCHA is home to over half a million people and an invaluable resource for New York City, as one of the last places working class people, who are the lifeblood of this city, can still afford to live.  The infill plan, and all of NYCHA 2.0, is proof that under capitalism, the government would rather give away

Keep It Fresh initiated as a campaign for youth, by youth. As a Green For All fellow, Denver native, eco-hiphop artist and vegan chef Dr. Ietef “Dj Cavem” Vita decided to ask for an official day as a way of pushing his clean air, clean water, and clean food initiative and use it as a way to highlight people around the world who use food as medicine.

I’m really excited that other cities like Baltimore are down with the movement, and my goal is to make this a national day.” – Dr. Ietef Vita, a.k.a. DJ Cavem

  • 2019 African Traditional Spiritual Relationships Intensive

  • Jun 15, 2019 from 6:00am to 3:00pm
  • Location: Senbeb Wellness Complex
  • Description:

At this conference you will not only gain additional insight to help guide your performance in your relationship but will also be given tools to affect/adjust the spirit/energy needed to accomplish that which is “seen” that you should do. This is vital. Everything is accomplished via energy! Just as a specific vibration/frequency/amount of energy is required in different situations, if any of these factors does not meet that which is required the desired effect will not be achieved . For example, a car battery requires 12 volts of electricity but it must be DC and not AC or when you turn the ignition key the car will not start.
