To everyone who can’t stand this world the way it is... who is sick and tired of so many people being treated as less than human... who knows that the claim of “liberty and justice for all” is a cruel lie... who is righteously enraged that injustice and inequality go on, and on, and on, despite false promises and honeyed words from people in power (or those seeking power)... everyone who agonizes about where things are headed and the fact that to be young now means being denied a decent future, or any future at all... everyone who has ever dreamed about something much better, or even wondered whether that is possible... everyone who hungers for a world without oppression, exploitation, poverty, and destruction of the environment... everyone who has the heart to fight for something that is really worth fighting for: YOU need to be part of this revolution.

  • May 10, 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Location: Revolution Books NYC / 437 Malcolm X Blvd at 132nd / Harlem
  • Description:
    Friends,

Watching that white former marine choking the life out of Jordan Neely made my blood boil. Hearing that the pigs hadn’t arrested the murderer made it even worse.

If you’re in NYC, join me on Wed, May 10, at 7PM at Revolution Books NYC to get into the burning questions this outrage poses. Questions like how long must we continue to endure this kind of shit; what, if anything, can be done to end them once and for all, and more.

And mark May 16 on your calendar. On that day, Andy Zee, the host of the Revcoms’ weekly YouTube show: Revolution Nothing Less, will be speaking at Revolution Books in NYC at 7PM on the New broadsheet: WE ARE THE REVCOMS - We Are Working For A Real Revolution And A Whole New, Emancipating Way To Live!

Hope to see you at Revolution Books,

To the Revcoms and Those Who Are Checking Out the Movement for Revolution:

How You Can Act on May 1, 2023 and Begin to Put REAL Revolution “On The Map”

The last week was—once again—packed with jolts and outrages.

In Texas, the fascist governor said in advance that he will pardon the man convicted of killing a protester against the police murder of George Floyd in 2020—without that pig governor even having seen the trial transcript.

In DC, one of the lead fascists on the Supreme Court, Samuel Alito, says that the Court will review this week the attempt of a lower-court judge to outlaw across the whole nation the main abortion pill used to end unwanted pregnancies—and there is a real chance that the Supreme Court will side with that judge.

Some low-level National Guard member released a whole trove of classified documents that reveal just how deeply the U.S. is orchestrating the war in Ukraine and just how widely it spies around the world.

In Juárez, Mexico, more came to light on how police k

  • Location: Lincoln Monument, New Jersey
  • Description:

    SAY THE WORD ‘REPARATIONS’

On Friday, June 17th, the People’s Organization for Progress will host its annual Juneteenth March for Reparations.

Participants will rally at the Lincoln Monument at 12 noon.

This is the second year that P.O.P. is co-hosting this march with the NJ Institute of Social Justice (NJISJ) and a host of other organizations.

Last year, Juneteenth was declared a national holiday. Juneteenth is a celebration to mark the end of slavery in Texas in 1865. That state’s slaveholding class withheld the end of slavery  with the Emancipation Proclamation of January 1, 1863 from its Black population. It was not until Union troops effectively occupied Texas at the end of the Civil War that that state’s Black population was emancipated on June 19, 1865.

In recent years, Juneteenth has been embraced by AfricanAmericans nationally as a day to celebrate the end of slavery and to unite on the call for Reparations.
