We endorse Carol Moseley Braun for Mayor Feb. 22

For the first time in more than five decades, there won't be a Daley on the ballot for mayor of Chicago.

That alone would make the Feb. 22 election historic, but it also happens to fall on the same day that Harold Washington was elected to his first term in 1983.
