3828570142?profile=originalPeople tend to view reality through the lens of their personal experience or biases, even when completely irrelevant to a particular issue or incident. Yet, sometimes one's personal experience and knowledge - with investigation - can bring relevant insight or contemplation to a given situation. I raise this inspired by increasingly disturbing developments in the Bill Cosby rape scandal. Particularly since Black former model Beverly Johnson darkened (with her complexion) the bevy of still mostly

Reflections on the March For Justice

Even as I disembarked the subway to join the March For Justice in Washington DC on Saturday December 13 2014, I was surprised by my  overwhelming feeling of deep sadness.  As I joined the thousands on Pennsylvania Avenue, I just could not shake it. I felt too sad to even join the chants of “No justice, No Peace”, nor raise my hands to ”Hands up, Don’t shoot!” I just could not help thinking of tragedy of those victims of police killings. I was haunted by the videos of the killings. Tamir Rice was

Hands Up - Don't Shoot

Contrary to the refrain from the tragic Ferguson, Mo., shooting of Michael Brown, we know that keeping your hands up does not mean you will not be shot. Assata Shakur had her hands up when she was shot on the New Jersey turnpike by a State Trooper, Oscar Grant was laying face down on a subway platform when he was shot in the back by a Bay Area Transit cop, Sean Bell was executed in a hail of bullets by a half dozen N.Y. city cops while sitting in a car, and Trayvon Martin fought to defend himsel

EPIC FAIL: Sharpton March on Washington Probably Won't Address Jobs or Freedom - Making It Nothing like the 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Event Sharpton Seeks to Mimic

innisn_sm.jpg?width=250Washington, DC - Members of the Project 21 black leadership network are criticizing Al Sharpton's planned weekend protest in Washington, D.C., saying the protest likely will do nothing but stir up tension while the root causes of high crime and low hope in black communities go unaddressed.

On December 13, Sharpton plans to bring

Some people would call the demonstrators and those in support of them radical and trouble makers, but that would not at all be the truth.  Blacks have been a restrained and a controlled people in these lands and in all the lands that took Slaves to build their empires.  And since the end of Slavery, descendants of Slaves have endured pain and suffering, cruelty and endless racist acts that have been covered up or rendered nonexistent, and have been left out of the equal distribution of wealth.

Call For the First African Federalist Congress

Do you believe that the political unification of the African States is a matter of utmost urgency for Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora?

Do you agree with Kwamé Nkrumah when he stated that; "It is clear that we must find an African solution to our problems, and that this can only be found in African unity. Divided we are weak; united, Africa could become one of the greatest forces for good in the world"?

Are you sick and tired of watching Africans being helpless when faced with natural

Justice Foul or Fowl

[*By Jumasa Kofi Sankofa] The election of Barak Obama to the presidency of the United States is a defining moment in the history of this country. It is supposed to signify a post racial America, where a people, despised and degraded as an inferior race, has triumphed over racial oppression. After all, one of them has been elected to the highest and most prestigious office in the land. It is supposed to signify a society’s triumph over its racist foundation, rejecting the tenets of that foundatio

3828569925?profile=originalWhy the American Legal System is Workable ©
By Alton h. Maddox, jr ("Attorney-at-War")
~
If the American legal system does not work in a particular case, it is, nonetheless, workable generally. It is only unworkable when a "moron" seeks to make it work or a "Judas goat" misleads the Black sheep. The white media, in addition to the merger of church and state [FBI], are also accomplices.

In confronting American jurisprudence, a lawyer has one of two options. If you are unable to work the system,

WAR ON THE PEOPLE

by Natalie ~

Police across the United States have declared war on the American people, particularly on Blacks and other minorities.   More than one person is shot by the local police on a daily basis, most of them under the age of 20, and most of those shot tending to be unarmed.  Many of these victims have been children.  The victims have included fathers, mothers, children leaving birthday parties to go home, people on their wedding day preparing to be married, young parents
