TIME FOR FATHER’S MONTH

America—as well as other western cultures—have been feminized for quite a long time.  Here in the states, March has been ‘proclaimed’ as “Women’s History Month”.  Well, as one who is used to putting out fires with the blanket of truth, I’d like to remind us that someone of the WOKE crowd (Weirdly Obsessing Kooks and Evildoers) a few years back just ‘decided’ that they were hostile against “Black History Month” in February and came up with the idea to further attempt

BLACK ELECTED OFFICIALS: STOP BEING ‘STUCK ON STUPID’!

Based upon what I have been reading and seeing concerning some of the latest scandals of our current crop of Black elected officials (many of them of the Democrat and liberal stripe) there SHOULD have been someone in their political upbringing who were willing to ‘school’ them on a few truths and realities.  Regardless of whether a Black elected official is a Democrat or Republican, it should be painfully obvious that—being a Black man

A SUCCESS PRIMER FOR YOUNG BLACK MEN, PART 3

I’ve worn a variety of different hats over my lifetime.  All of them have, at time or another, ‘bumped uglies’ with the impact and effects of juvenile crime.  Whether it has been in a classroom, in a courtroom, or in the streets, juvenile crime is the issue that spends more time taking—rather than giving.  In short, regardless of what you see on social media, in the ‘mainstream mess’ or in the latest video game offering or in the latest rap/hip-

THERE ARE BETTER WAYS

A few years back, it was revealed that for every one million students who played basketball, maybe two would have the talent to turn pro.  This was roughly the same ratio for those who wanted to play professional football.  This simply means that for the rest of the young men involved in athletics, they would need to have a realistic ‘back up’ plan for success after their high school and college sports days were behind them.

Over the years, we would hope that man

MARGINALIZED AGAIN: DEMOCRATS DITCHING THE BLACK VOTE

Surprise!  Black folk around the country have gotten their official ‘walking papers’ from the Democratic party in the form of having illegal aliens ‘preferred’ by the liberal power structure OVER Black people.  In heavily Democratic cities such as Boston, Chicago, New York City, Denver, Oakland and many others, funds that have been set aside for Black causes such as Business Development, youth programs, prison reform, housing, food, and

A SUCCESS PRIMER FOR YOUNG BLACK MEN, PART 2

Show me a young man who has not learned how to show humility in victory and grace in defeat through athletic competition, and I will show you a young man who has a hole in his character because he has not experienced TRUE victory OR defeat at a personal level.

Two of the side effects of being successful are learning how to deal with failures and setbacks.  Believe me, my young brothers, they WILL come—oftentimes at a point in your li

BATTLE OF THE BOX CHECKERS, PART 2

A published story out of the Midwest reportedly had the following exchange.  The Black man told an Illegal Alien: “Get out of the country”.  The Illegal Alien replied: “Quit being so lazy.”  In the middle of this exchange, the Illegal Alien was in the wrong.  IF the Illegal Alien came to the country legally, he would not be in the wrong.  Further, IF the Illegal Alien expended the same energy in HIS country as he expended to cross our borders illegally, H

Palestinians will be toast

If the International Court of Justice rules that Israel has not committed genocide, the Palestinians will be toast.  This decision will give Israel approval to kill every single Palestinian man, woman and child,  or force them all to move to another country.
If on the other hand , the court rules that Israel has committed genocide, the Palestinians will be toast. This is because Israel, like it has done in the past, will completely ignore this verdict. Israel has violated 28 resolutions of the U

BATTLE OF THE BOX CHECKERS, PART 1

Let me get this out of the way first.  There WAS a time when Black women and Black men used to work together for the benefit of the race.  Over the last few years, there are some liberal Black women (and other liberal women of color) who have forgotten from whence they came.

From the outset, let me also say that I have nothing against marrying across the color line.  The hope is that—for a Christian—they marry IN the faith and are NOT ‘unequally yoke

RANDOM THOUGHTS FROM THE AMERICAN TRICK BAG

Time again for a few thoughts from my ‘All American Trick Bag’; dedicated to bringing forth some historical items of note from the P-School Ranger era—that era of history BEFORE ‘Old School’.  You might want to bring along your smelling salts, as these were items that happened outside of your classroom.

Consumer confidence

I found myself in Target on a special discount day a few days ago. I superficially looked at some shoes. Suddenly, I asked myself, “What am I doing here?” I have enough shoes, enough shirts, pants, enough clothes. I have enough ‘stuff’.  In the store, I am not just a person, but I am a consumer. If I don’t buy more ‘stuff’, needed or not, it might affect the economy adversely. Buying more ‘stuff’ will show consumer confidence. It seems I have a buying duty.
I left the store without buying. I fai
