HARRIS STAYS ON THE JOB—PERIOD!

      Let’s do some full disclosure right up front.  I am NOT a supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris.  I’m NOT of the same political party.  I’m NOT fond of many of her policies.  Having said all that, let me say this: I am fond of history.  Much of what is being said about VP Harris today is what the power hungry and jealous have said about other Vice Presidents over the course of history—only to have them do a LOT better than advertised when history came a’calling.

      And, since God controls history, He is the one who makes decisions without our input.

      Remember a Democrat by the name of Harry S. Truman?  Served as Vice President under four-term President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Members of his OWN party put him into the mix as an afterthought.  Truman was kept in the dark so much by Roosevelt that his nickname should have been ‘mushroom’.  Truman was viewed as a complete waste of time by Roosevelt.  However, history came a’calling.  Roosevelt died and Vice President Truman became President.  God built the ‘mushroom’ into a man.  God used Truman to end WWII and to support the birth of the infant nation of Israel in March 1948. He was in the right place, at the right time, as ordained by God.

      Remember a Republican Congressman by the name of Gerald Ford?  He became Vice President to Richard Nixon. Nixon resigned because of the Watergate scandal, and Ford became President.  Ford did a lot to keep America going during dark times—including giving Nixon a full pardon for his crimes while in office. Sure, a lot of people didn’t like Ford, nor his administration…but when America was on the line, God put Ford into the right place, at the right time.

      God puts up one and sets down another.  God put Kamala Harris in place—for good or for ill—because HIS plan is the one that matters.  To tell you the truth, I am a little shocked at the catcalls coming from other white liberal Democrat women—including Hillary Clinton—who want Harris out at VP.  Now, many of those who don’t want Harris on the job are of the lighter hue—but there are some Black Democrats who don’t want her on the job either.  Further, there are those who don’t like the fact that VP Harris has a white husband and bi-racial kid(s). 

      You can judge the potential effectiveness of a person by the enemies that they accumulate.     It seems that VP Harris has picked up quite a few enemies, especially those who are power hungry.  She has made a few missteps in the second chair of the Executive branch, this is true.  However, I’m not in favor of Harris being ‘bullied’ out of office.  The critics need to shut up and let her do the job she has been elected to do.  Let God—and history—be her ultimate judge.
