Support For Black Owned Business Growing - Smokin' Joe Products

One of the first community organizers to work with Barack Obama in Chicago for over 20 years. Now Associate Editor of The South Street Journal Newspaper and 37 year activist/journalist, recently selected as 2010 Who's Who In Black Chicago.

MARK ALLEN TALKS -- Black economic empowerment and the effort to sustain an increase Black owned businesses and local job creation.

As a board member of The Black Wall Street-Chicago Project, I am pleased to join the promotional efforts to sustain this Black owned business founded by one of my Kappa fraternity brothers (the late Frank Walker, Jr). Let me introduce you to our new Smokin' Joe Great Garlic & Golden Honey BBQ sauces. These items are off to a great start and the company is getting good consumer feedback. Our garlic flavored BBQ sauce is new and unique.

The original 12 oz X-tra hot Smokin' Joe hot sauce and our Cajun Peppers has been growing in Hispanic areas as well. This 12 oz X-tra hot has been specially blended for heavy category users of hot sauce and for Hispanic consumers. With our lower sodium content in Smokin' Joe, this item will compliment what you already carry in these stores and addresses the concern of Hispanic consumers with high blood pressure. Approximately 1/3 of U. S. consumers have high blood pressure. As you know, that number is up to 40-50% in Hispanic & African American consumers. Isn't is great to have products like these that satisfy the desire for hot sauces in Black and Hispanic communities while at the same time now developed to help address the issue of high blood pressure??
