WHY THIS AND WHY NOW?
One of the things that I have noticed about being a Christian writer from a biblical, business, and common-sense perspective is the following: When you look around and don’t see the type of writing on a subject in existence it is because the Lord has put it in you to get the job done. Thus, here comes a different kind of column on the subject of Bible Prophecy, written at a level which fits those who are the most in need of teaching on the subject…those who are on the streets of many of our highways and byways.
I’ve been blessed to be a student of Bible Prophecy for a number of years. Then, a few years back, I was able to take my being taught on the subject into the teaching arena in order to show those in need that it wasn’t all that hard to understand—contrary to what others have been teaching from a variety of vantage points. My job is not to ‘out-teach’ anyone, but to make the subject matter easier to understand AND to encourage other Christians—through their study of the KJV Bible to take it to the streets and evangelize those who may not have heard about the soon return of Jesus Christ.
Unless you have been asleep under a shady tree over the last twenty-five years, the prophetic clock has been ticking away. Let me give you an example, just over the last few months. It has been announced that China and Egypt will be having joint military exercises in the proximity of Israel. Further, if we go a few decades back, it was reported that folks in Russia—through their public education system—started learning Arabic. The reason became obvious a few years ago when Russia started working with some of the Arab states, supplying them with weapons, manpower and money for their oil. Again, Israel is the ‘side’ target of this attention.
Want more? During the Obama and Biden administrations, money flowed into Iran. Iran used that money to fund Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, along with Isis and a variety of US-based student protest groups. Again, the ‘side’ target being Israel. BOTH the Obama and Biden administrations treated Israel shabbily—which CLEARLY goes against Genesis 12:3 (KJV) and gives us the right spot in the viewfinder as to why we have been having soooo much trouble on our shores. Inflation, crime, social AND racial unrest, public and political corruption along with changes in normally stable weather patterns (which has led to storms and fires that haven’t been seen in the USA for decades—including the LA fires which left many homeless). NOT to mention the wars that have broken out, and an international scene which has become LESS than stable.
Enter the Trump administration. In his FIRST term, the US Embassy was moved to Jerusalem in 2018, the 70th year of Israel’s independence, firmly giving us a presence involving Israel. In his second term (so far) President Donald J. Trump has resumed weapons shipments to Israel, has sided with Israel in its battle with Hamas and Iran, and has been working to get rid of the Houthi rebels in Yemen, as they have been interfering with international shipping. Further, Trump has exposed the globalist agenda—which has a firm plank of Antisemitism—and, one by one, countries have been slowly ditching globalist leadership, and installing leaders who have carried forth and implemented pro-Israel and pro-freedom agendas.
Again, there are other Bible Prophecy ministries that have put forth books and videos on the end times (formal name is Eschatology—the study of the last days). However, much of what has been put forth, in my humble opinion, has not reached the urban areas of America, nor been used by the churches in many of our urban areas to shake our people out of their slumber and motivated them to get the work to bring the harvest home before the Rapture of the church takes place.
I’m not picking on any Bible Prophecy ministry or teachers. However, I find it highly interesting that when it comes to people in the Motherland of Africa, as well as African-Americans here in the western world, such topics of importance haven’t been much in the way or KJV Bible teaching forthcoming. That is…until now.
So, yours truly will have a few items from time to time on Bible Prophecy that will rock a few churches and preachers to their theological roots, as well as providing some encouragement to those in the next generation who are on the march for Jesus, and taking their faith to the streets. A LOT of Gen Z young people are warming up in the bullpen and have been spreading the word about the need for Jesus Christ. They won’t slow down…nor shut down.
One example. Members of The Ohio State University football team—in 2024—participated in a wide variety of evangelism events on campus. Young people were being led to Christ and being baptized. Even the national news, reluctantly, reported on the activities of some of the players and their message. Of course, the ‘gospel fire’ of these team members also spilled out onto the field. Ohio State beat favored Notre Dame for the NCAA Men’s College Football Championship by a score of 34-23! Ohio State’s players honored God long before that game. They honored Jesus in secret. He rewarded them openly. Further, over the last few years, other sports figures have declared their allegiances to Jesus Christ.
There are no coincidences when it comes to how God operates. Read his book.
More to come.
