September 15th marks the anniversary of a terrible tragedy in our history. On this day forty-nine years ago, during a service at the 16th Street Baptist Church titled, “The Love That Forgives,” members of the KKK set off explosives that killed four little girls: Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson and Denise McNair. In honor of their memory, we ask that you pledge to register 16 new voters on Sunday, September 16. |
