    The juried trial of the Dallas 6 begins on Monday, May 5, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Four years ago, the Dallas 6 took a courageous stand by engaging in non-violent direct action to confront state-sanctioned death and torture in SCI Dallas. They now face criminal charges for this courageous stand. HRC is hoping to pack a bus (or two) full of supporters to the trial on May 5 and May 6, and we would appreciate any support you may offer!

    Session Four finds us thinking about Malcolm X, inspiring this month’s theme “Reading Up On Malcolm.”

    Suggested reading: 'By Any Means Necessary: Real, Not Reinvented.' This book was complied by Haki R. Madhubuti, Herb Boyd and others as a response to Manning Marable’s controversial biography of Malcolm X. There are many other books about Malcolm, we will be sharing our thoughts about what we have read.
