Black Art and Culture Journey to Spain and Morocco in June 2015.  A five city, 12 day exploration of the African heritage of Spain and Morocco.  Too often when we hear about Spain and Morocco on the news we fail to remember (and celebrate) the deep black African roots that shaped those countries legacies.  Nor are we aware of the way the African heritage continues to shape and inform the contemporary ideas in these countries.

CEMOTAP KWANZAA

CEMOTAP will host its annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Saturday Dec 27th, at 2:00 PM at CEMOTAP CENTER located at 135-05 Rockaway Boulevard South Ozone Park NY. Admission is Free. 

You are asked bring a  gift for a child, it can be something functional such as gloves, or a scarf, an item of clothing, a book or a toy  or educational game. As in the past every child that attends will receive a  gift. 

There will be entertainment, edutainment, drumming music, dance and good spirits.
