Here are the rules for our first offline cash mob… let’s make it happen!
• Our mob will work together on December 14th, meet in person, location Asili Museum.
• The amount to spend will not be more than $20, although you can spend more if you wish.
• The business must have products that cost less than $20 for both men, women and children; the business must also be black owned.
• The business must have a website, accept credit or debit cards, phone contact, email address and phone lines must be fully operational during cash mob (no voice-mail) and independently operated.
• The business owner must give back to their local community in some way.
• BBE will approve the business for Cash Mob before the mob is announced.
• Cash Mobbers / Businesses must join us on facebook page, twitter and YouTube and join our mailing list.
• The cash mob will occur during the evening for all day, drinks and food will available.
• Pictures must be submitted to help promote business products and will be posted on facebook, twitter, youtube, and websites/blogs.
During the mob, there are three rules:
1. Spend $20;
2. Meet three people you didn't know before; request them, share, retweet, email, spread the word that you are cash mobbing with #BBE as well as the business we are patronizing.
3. HAVE FUN!!!
