    Saturday, December 14, 11:00 to 1:00 PM a celebration of life ceremony will take place at Boys and Girls High School, 1700 Fulton Street, in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York City.  Republic of South Africa Consul General George Monyemangene will address the audience.  Immediately following the indoor celebration New York City Public Advocate elect Letitia “Tish” James will lead a pedestrian/motorcar procession thru the community.  This march will meet a South African community vigil at the school playground, near M.S. 113, DeKalb Avenue at Carlton, in the Fort Greene section of the borough.

    Here are the rules for our first offline cash mob… let’s make it happen! 
    • Our mob will work together on December 14th, meet in person, location Asili Museum.
    • The amount to spend will not be more than $20, although you can spend more if you wish.
    • The business must have products that cost less than $20 for both men, women and children; the business must also be black owned.
    • The business must have a website, accept credit or debit cards, phone contact, email address and phone lines must be fully operational during cash mob (no voice-mail) and independently operated.
    • The business owner must give back to their local community in some way.
    • BBE will approve the business for Cash Mob before the mob is announced.
    • Cash Mobbers / Businesses must join us on facebook page, twitter and YouTube and join our mailing list.
    • The cash mob will occur during the evening for all day, drinks
