Join husband and wife team, Chef Dr. Doris Careaga and Dr. Finne Coleman, for an immersion experience in Afromexican communities in Mexico. It is only Afro-Mexican foodie and history tour on the planet. This two part trip delights and challenges the foodie and informs and engages the historian in each of us.

Dr. Finnie D. Coleman - Dr. Coleman is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of New Mexico. He is a specialist in African American literature, history, and culture. 

Dr. Doris Careaga - A former chef and restaurateur, Dr. Careaga is uniquely prepared to guide this immersion into Afromexican culinary traditions.
