This two part trip delights and challenges the foodie and informs and engages the historian in each of us.

    Dr. Finnie D. Coleman - Dr. Coleman is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of New Mexico. He is a specialist in African American literature, history, and culture. 

    Dr. Doris Careaga - A former chef and restaurateur, Dr. Careaga is uniquely prepared to guide this immersion into Afromexican culinary traditions.
