The Quick Scan by Mike Ramey

JOURNALISM 1-0-WHAT?

The same (legacy) liberal media that calls for others to recuse themselves out of leadership positions for the ‘slightest hint’ of impropriety, turn to the public stone-faced and get indignant when their conflicts of interest are pointed out.  Especially Black liberal members of the press.

After watching the recent debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on ABC—and within 48 hours of the debate finding out that Harris and ABC Co-Moderator Linsey Davis were Sorority sisters (Alpha Kappa Alpha), that fact helped to make plain for the pubic some of the ‘new’ rules of Journalism that have seeped into the mainstream press (or mainstream mess as I call them).  Now, in what ‘used’ to be the ‘standard’ in the reporting trade, if it were revealed that a reporter or anchor had a connection with their source or subject, a smart boss would demand that the news person step down from coverage.  If the reporter refused?  They were FIRED!

That practice, or rule, has gone the way of the manual typewriter and the ‘tick-tick’ of a newsroom wire machine.  There are other practices that have been ‘replaced’ or ‘changed’ over the years.  Some of these observations are courtesy of Carl Higbie Frontline on Newsmax from earlier in September, while some of the observations come from yours truly.  Let’s begin with this short course on the Democrat controlled (legacy) liberal media-including some Black media:

*Deny the truth & Squelch those who tell the truth.

*Tell the public that the truth is not happening right in front of them

*When truth is happening, call it a ‘right wing’ conspiracy theory.

*Attack those who talk about it.

*IF they talk about it on social media, practice censorship on them.

*Cancel those who find/bring up the truth.

*When the truth cannot be hidden anymore, downplay it.

*When someone famous on the Democrat side is harmed by Democrat policy, downplay it.

*Lead a revolt by fellow liberals against those who tell the truth.

*Threaten truth tellers with seizure of assets and freezing of bank accounts (or do it!).

*Complain that those who are telling the truth are a ‘threat to democracy’.

*Say that protesting the truth ‘is good for the country’.

*Say that liberal bias is ‘healthy for’ a better society.

*Preach against success and encourage government handouts.

My friends, be warned; these items are already on the table for many media outlets—including social media.  A word to the wise about Journalism 1-0-What as it may soon appear in your area.  In fact, you may have experienced it.  Now, you know what to call it!
