A SUCCESS PRIMER FOR YOUNG BLACK MEN, PART 5

      In continuing the topics of virginity and sexual responsibility for my young Black brothers, let’s review.  First, we are living in an age where some girls and women of ALL races are sexually aggressive towards young men in general, and young Black men in particular.  My objective is to put forth some frank man-to-man talk to help protect our young men from those girls and women—some EVEN in the church—who are under the control of Satan through the sin of lust.  Some of these sisters are DIRECT kin to Jezebel, Delilah, and other wicked women in the scriptures.

      The ‘modern’ woman of today wants—nay demands—the right to run down every man who crosses her path.  From her father at home, to other men throughout society.  Yep, she’s a card-carrying, tat-wearing, hard-drinking hell raiser.  However, because of the way that they have been ‘wired’ by God, there are times feminists (including the Hollywood and Entertainment crowds) will put aside their anger at men in at certain times of the year, when men are held to be OK. These feminists will drop their smokes and put on some makeup and a dress.

      Mark those women carefully.  They may ‘masquerade’ as wife material—but they ain’t!  These ladies want it both ways; they want to destroy men from 9 to 5 to make themselves ‘act’ feminist.  After dark, they are the SAME ones sitting on the couch with a tub of their favorite ice cream, crying about the fact that ‘there are no good men’ out there…THEN they shop for YOUNG men whom they can easily manipulate and control.

      Let’s continue the discussion. Feminists will pick and choose which days to ‘act’ normal. One of these times is called New Years Eve.  Then, there is Valentine’s Day. Another day is Mother’s Day (Father’s Day still doesn’t get that much in the way of respect—but it is improving)!  There is also anytime there is a royal wedding or to-do in London. June and July are good months, as there are a lot of weddings in those months.  The Christmas season is also a ‘truce’ time in the sex wars.  And, for you young brothers, notice how the girls in middle and high school seem to ‘change’ at Prom time—and ‘hope’ that you will pick up the tab so they can go to Prom?

      But I digress.

      Always remember my young brother that manhood is not only caught, but also taught.  The key difference between an upright man, and an uptight, weak male is rooted in the willingness to act on good, solid advice from wise brothers who have faced the issues you are about to face.  Please do NOT believe the lie that there are ‘no men available’ to counsel you.  You do NOT need a ‘mentoring’ program to gain wisdom on life. YOU must seek out wise, older brothers for manhood training—and advice. 

      Further, you NEED to be willing to listen AND act upon the information you have received!

      I also mentioned in my last column that we are living in a feminized society; an era of time where some girls and women don’t care how they get their groove on—especially at the expense of young Black men.  The schoolhouse and the college campus have become a bordello to many of the female persuasion as they are using that environment as their personal, sexual hunting ground and YOU my young Black brother, are the object of their affection.  Some women want their ‘BS’ degree; some work for their ‘MRS’ degree on the college campus—and the REAL objective is to dig into YOUR bed and YOUR pocket!

      Let me drop this pin at this point: In many cases, if you take a stand against a sexually aggressive girl or woman, they WILL lie on you to save their ‘standing’.  This is being played out again, and again. Middle School, High School, and College!  YES, it will take weeks or months to clear your name, but it is always better to take the lumps for the truth, rather than ‘roll over’ for convenience’s sake to please a lie!

      Just like the days of Joseph (Genesis, Chapters 35 to 50) and the example of Potiphar’s wife.

      Mrs. Potiphar was a married woman who was well known for her taste in seeking sexual fulfillment outside of the bonds of marriage, with any good-looking young man that struck her fancy.  Mrs. Potiphar ‘cast her eyes’ on young Joseph, pressuring him day after day—with no success—until she set him up to be alone with her.

      Joseph was not afraid to literally run from the situation.  But the additional price he paid was going to prison for several years, as an INNOCENT young man.  When such a temptation comes a’calling, it is best to flee, like Joseph did!  I Corinthians 10:13 (KJV): “God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” Joseph valued his relationship with God, his integrity with his employer, and his personal purity (virginity) MORE than he valued a sensual, sexual encounter with his employer’s wife.

      My young brother, YOU must do likewise, and not be ashamed of taking such a stand!  It is NOT enough to be able to ‘recite’ scripture.  There comes a time when you must put your feet to pavement and physically REMOVE yourself from sinful activity that you KNOW is sinful.  Playing around in sinful pits is a good way to get trapped and LOSE more than your virginity and freedom…you may even lose your life. 

      Since we are in the end times, I’ll remind you again that there ARE STDs that can kill you.

      Do you think that social media is telling you the truth about relationships outside of the bonds of marriage?  I would dare say that it does not, for a variety of reasons—with many of these reasons spelling out to dollar signs from sponsors who make their living making other people’s lives miserable.  As I said, we live in a feminized society.  The deck is STACKED against young men right from the crib.  Satan (John 10:10 KJV) gets a kick out of making men look bad—the younger the better.  Why?  Our faith in God. When other young men would rather lay down and quit, the young Black man of today is viewed as a threat because many of them won’t give up on living an upright life before a holy God.

      As I wrap this section up, there is a reason why I stress having a firm relationship with God through Jesus Christ; the Scriptures themselves are full of warnings about living an immoral lifestyle.  Consider this one, from the Book of Ecclesiastes 7:26: “And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her (KJV)”. 

      The young man without God; who cares little for the things of God and has NOT been transformed by Jesus Christ is not under the hand of protection from God and is a sinner in danger of falling into the clutches of evil women.  Young man, heed this warning from the Scriptures and live in the joy of upright manhood.  Do NOT be content to exist as a ‘male’ and you will go far!
