WHEN DID THEY FIGURE IT OUT? WILL WE?
As the old saying goes: “When white folks sneeze, Black folk get pneumonia.” This is a truth concerning economic issues that affect the Black community. However, there is a new twist on this saying, due to the Democratic National Convention shindig in Chicago recently. It goes like this: “When white folk LEAVE the Democrat party, why are Black folk still hanging around?”
Let’s cover the body count since the DNC gathering:
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Alan Dershowitz
Tulsi Gabbard
Elon Musk
These are the major hitters, with more and more surfacing every day. There are others who have been leaving in dribs and drabs over the past year.
If one would check out their local TV news, newspaper, or social media offering, one would think that the rise in unemployment, the increasing number of illegal aliens getting jobs (and the increasing number of Americans LOSING jobs), along with the tightening of consumer spending ‘just happened’. Meanwhile, the number of liberals being ‘let go’ from liberal-leaning companies and media organizations continues to increase, along with the tears and shouts of ‘why me’?
Let us NOT forget the number of Gen Z young people who can’t afford rent or to buy a house.
Welcome to ‘Carterville’. Of course, to be up to date, I should call it ‘Bidenomics’ or the Kamala Harris ‘flip-flop’. In short, when Democrats are involved with the leavers of power, they have a nasty habit of wrecking the economic bandwagon as they always want to ‘tax and spend’ and forget that folk who are out of work cannot pay taxes…but CAN go to food banks.
The major hitters claim that the Democrat party left them. They grew weary trying to defend a party that supports Abortion on Demand (up to birth); allowing illegal aliens more rights than the taxpayers who pay the bills, defunding of the police and allowing crime to spiral out-of-control—while at the SAME time promising more of the same if re-elected—is worthy of serious consideration by Black people.
All you have to do is ask yourself: “Are you better off now than you were four years ago?”
