THE WOKE PHARISEES

     *The Surgeon General of Florida—according to published reports--posts some unpopular medical information on the Wuhan Virus (Covid 19) to a social media account and is banned from doing so because his ‘information’ does not ‘fit’ the popular media narrative.  Regardless of whether he eventually gets his account access back, the damage has been done.

     *Parents—who are the REAL authorities over their OWN children—are held to be a threat to the very school systems and school boards they pay for through their taxes and votes.  Regardless of whether they vote out the rascals that have put up such untruthful resistance, the damage has been done.

     *Conservative and Christian students who have paid tuition and student fees, and the same rights to approach the public square on college and university campuses as other students are ‘hounded out’ by students opposed to their viewpoints.  Regardless of whether logic ever surfaces in the minds of their opposition, the damage has been done.

     *Black Lives Matter (BLM) leadership are under investigation by a host of State Attorney’s General for financial corruption with millions of dollars raised to ‘help’ Black people. According to published reports, the only Black people BLM has been helping is themselves.  Those who dare to expose their crimes—regardless of their color—are accused of being ‘racists’ for standing up for financial accountability and truth.

     *A college professor mentioned to her class that there were TWO sexes, male and female.  Outraged, 21 of her 22 students walked out of her class.  The administration calmed them down and placed them in another class that was ‘less’ insulting to them.

     The Woke Pharisees continue to strike, again and again.

     In my view, WOKE has the following meaning: Weirdly Obsessing Kooks and Evildoers.  When the term FIRST surfaced, it came from Kanye West, describing the fact that he was no longer ‘asleep’ to the reality that there ARE forces that are perfectly content to keep the masses ‘boxed and check marked’ in their own little groups with the appropriate ‘pat on the head’ to be allowed to support the ‘cool, ignorant and elite’ power cliques abounding in our current society.

     Of course, the elites, NOT standing for anyone to free themselves from their traps, shouted down West (for a season), ‘twisted’ the meaning of WOKE to further attempt to confine the masses, and moved onward to press their agenda.

     Why do I attach the ‘Pharisee’ label to the Woke crowd?  Simple.  A Pharisee was a religious leader from the early New Testament era in Israel.  Pharisees were held in high regard once upon a time because of their deeds in fighting tyranny.  Eventually, they made the fatal mistake of being more concerned about their own prestige and press releases.  They forgot their mantle of leadership involved doing for others rather than living to self.  In short, these religious leaders thrilled in keeping the people from the truth of the Living God through their rules, regulations and policies.  The Pharisees pushed their Woke agenda, trying to convince the common person that ‘they’ knew best when it came to the things of God.

     Those Jews who ‘got out of line’ were excommunicated; threatened with being kicked out of the Temple—which was the ‘religious center’ of Jewish life.  John, Chapter 9 (KJV). 

     Sound familiar and current history?  Thus, my label.

     When God sent His son Jesus Christ to confront the Pharisees with the truth of their sins, they rewarded Him with hauling Him before the Roman authorities and calling for His crucifixion.  However, as with all things, no matter how much the Pharisees attempted to murder truth on a Cross, it WILL resurrect—usually at the LEAST convenient time.

     The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb by the power of God is a historic FACT.  Those who follow him always, through His power, turn the world upside down!

     Our ‘Woke Pharisees’ will go to their demises supporting their agenda-for-power-and-control.

     People representing the truth are fighting the good fight in the courts, the ballot box, the media, and the public square.  The truth is leading to the bankruptcy of the companies that support the woke agenda, as the common man and woman are ‘voting with their dollars’ and moving their children to better schools and traditional education. 

     In the end, as one saintly grandmother put it: “Truth will hunt down a lie and blow it out the sky!”  Stick to and with the truth folks.  Let the Woke Pharisees suffer in their ignorance.
