GET RIGHT—OR GET LEFT! PART 1
Bible Prophecy gives the true Christian the strength to get through today—to reach the coming kingdom.
To get to the bottom line of this series, Bible Prophecy gives the Christian hope in the future. Hope in surviving the hard times in which we currently live. Hope in sickness, social unrest, political corruption, and family breakdown. God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the illumination of the Holy Spirit will give his true Christians—the Body of Christ—an advance look at the coming kingdom—where Jesus will rule for a thousand years.
For those outside of the Body of Christ; those who are numbered among the mockers, scorners, wicked, sinners who have refused salvation by the hand of Christ, the world will NOT get better, no matter what the ‘social media engineers’ say on line. Bible Prophecy gets the Christian to perform a self-evaluation of their walk with the Lord, and those who need Christ at the center of their lives irrevocable evidence that this world is not their final home.
A true Christian is not a ‘patched up sinner.’ In fact, they are no longer called ‘a sinner saved by grace.’ A real Christian has passed into a new name—he is a Saint of God and is regarded as sanctified, and soon to be glorified. He is a new creature and—even thought he is in his old body—he is regarded as a brand new individual in the sight of the Living God (II Cor. 5:17 KJV).
What’s the bottom line? Get right with God through Jesus Christ, or get left behind facing seven years of Hell on earth the likes of which this world has never seen, nor mankind has ever experienced. Those in Christ will not face the wrath of God—they will be well removed before that wrath is poured out on this planet.
Church membership does NOT mean that you are IN Jesus Christ. If your father, mother, grandma, or grandpa is a Christian and you are not, you are NOT in Jesus Christ. You may know about Christ, but having a relationship with Him by calling on his name and becoming a part of his Kingdom is the ONLY way you are assured of going to heaven (Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9, John 3:16, 17, 30 KJV).
During our recent times together, I mentioned the word ‘Eschatology,’ which simply means—among other definitions—the study of the end times. I would advise my readership NOT to be shocked by the recent content and subject matter of my columns. This is just a natural progression in content. However, I have noticed something. Many of the topics I have tackled have been focusing toward Eschatology. How can I tell? Because many of the same sins of man have been forewarned in Bible Prophecy.
Let’s be for real. We are in the end times. Many can sense that something is amiss in our current society. The need for a spiritual foundation is making a comeback. Items such as weather pattern changes, the rise in crime, the flaunting of political corruption and a lot of other things have pointed toward the matter of the religious state of our land. I have already written about many of the ‘hot button’ topics of our day—starting nearly 30 years ago—and have repeated myself about some of these topics on many occasions.
It’s time to focus on the solution of our problems—not just the excuses FOR the problems.
There is a reality in our nation that has been growing over these 30 years: There seems to be no fear of God in our land, and little is being done to correct this matter. We have been re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic, and the iceberg—known as The Rapture—is looming ahead. Every five years or so, this world has something major punch it in the face just to remind it that time is getting short, and things are lining up for the return of Jesus Christ—whether mankind is ready or not, or believes in His Second Coming—or not.
Maybe I have said this before, but it bears repeating. America has—in the political arena—been calling right wrong, and wrong right. Incivility, profanity, lawfare, corruption and a host of other items have found their way into the modern brew of politics. Satan, of course, is having a good laugh, getting people’s minds and eyes off of what is REALLY heading down the pike.
Get right…or get left.
The Rapture is not a dream…it is a FACT! A New Testament piece of the Bible Prophecy puzzle which can take place at ANY time. There is NO ‘pre-existing prophetic button’ which God will push in order to start this event. It is attached to The Second Coming of Jesus Christ, and could best be described as the first part of that event.
When The Rapture hits, a trumpet will sound. Jesus Christ—in the first part of the Second Coming—will appear to ALL in the sky, and in an instant—in the twinkling of an eye—he will call those who believe in Him HOME to glory. First, the dead in Christ—those believers who have died in the past, and then the current Christians all over the world will be ‘caught up’ out of the earth in an instant. Then, Jesus will disappear with his followers, and the world will enter two 3.5 year periods (The Tribulation and The Great Tribulation) where a host of things will get messy—VERY messy.
Many who have wished and worked for YEARS to get rid of God, Jesus Christ and Christians will get their way. They will get what they want, but not like what they are getting. A quick question for the Christian haters out there in America. Where do you think the largest concentration of Christians are, presently? I’ll tell you—right here in the USA.
What do you think will happen to America when you lose a large number of diligent, tax paying, godly people at one shot? First, Wall Street will crash overnight. Second, America—as a Superpower, will be immediately finished. Soldiers, Civilians, Airplane Pilots, Teachers, Doctors, and a lot of others will simply vanish—called to meet the Lord in the air.
Be warned. Get right—or get left.
More to come.
