The Malcolm X Grassroots Movement condemns the targeting and harassment of community organizations by the New York Police Department. The Southern Poverty Law Center reports that the number of ant-Muslim groups tripled in 2011, jumping from 10 in 2010 to 30. The SPLC said the FBI reported a 50 percent jump in anti-Muslim hate crimes in 2010.
