What: Protest Demonstration and Press Conference When: Monday, July 28 at Noon Where: The Clothespin, 15th and Market, Philadelphia, PA Contact: Harris Daniels, 857-233-7508 The African People’s Socialist Party and the Uhuru Solidarity Movement in Philadelphia call on all freedom loving people to: • Join their demonstration on Monday, July 28 at NOON • Participate in the “Uhuru Summer Against State Terror” campaign to stand up against the City’s escalating attacks on the African community • Join the Uhuru Solidarity Movement and the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement. “The African community in Philadelphia faces the highest imprisonment and poverty rates in the U.S., and we recognize that these conditions are imposed by the U.S. government and carried out daily by the Nutter administration,” says African People’s Socialist Party Northeast Regional Outreach Director Ajamu Bandele. Alison Hoehne, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee in Philadelphia says, “We are calling for action and for the white community to speak out against the escalation of attacks against the black community in Philadelphia and around the country.
