In our four-hour intensive workshop we provide a look inside the world of independent film producing – creating work outside the studio system. This workshop is for individuals who are planning on producing a first feature film, short or web series and don’t know where to begin.

About the Instructor
Nicole Sylvester began her feature film career as a Production Coordinator on studio films such as 8 Mile (Universal), Hard Ball (Paramount) and *61 (HBO) and as a Distribution Coordinator for Jeff Daniels (Dumb & Dumber) feature film Super Sucker. She was Unit Production Manager for the film CASS (winner Best Film at the 2013 San Diego Black Film Festival.
She has independently Produced three independent feature films: The Owner (an International production and inducted in the Guinness World Records for “Most Directors of a Film”) 17000 Block (distributed by First Look Home Entertainment) and Layla's Girl (starring Richard Gant), several short films
