Greetings folks, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the organization which has meant so much to me over the past 40 years as well as the community at large  I would love for you to join me and my fellow board members for a special Jazz FUNdraising concert I'm putting down with my band: Andre Chez Lewis (piano), Lonnie Plaxico (bass), Bernard Linnette (drums) and Patience Higgins (sax) on Saturday, July 22nd. 

7 PM Doors open

8 PM Show begins

 

All proceeds will go to the Cafe's #Next50Fund. I will also be serving up my delicious  complimentary  banana puddin' for all who attend!

Folks the Cafe is in celebration mode of 50 years servicing the Artist community and is in the process of a total renovation project that will need your support in the process of it all, so if you can't make my concert on the 22nd (which is going to be a blast), please make your contribution and be sure to let us know the
