On Sundays, MONK returns for very special and intimate performances at Rustik Tavern in Brooklyn....

This is our way of celebrating Thelonious Monk's 95th birthday. We're also celebrating the 13th year of performing this Audelco Award winning play that has changed our lives, taken us all around the country, even to Africa, and has touched so many people on a profound level....

We are running MONK on Sundays through February 17th (Black History Month, the date Thelonious passed and the month of our very first performance of MONK)....

If you haven't seen the play and are always talking about how you missed it, take advantage of this great opportunity.  If you have seen MONK, thank you and please, pass the word to help us fill this intimate and wonderful performance space at Rustik Tavern.

At Rustik, we have been able to create a wonderful theater experience with a great play ($20), delicious dinner and drinks (optional) and an open mic jam session after the performance (so musicians, bring your instruments. We have the piano).....

Where else can you go and get an experience like this?

So let's pack the space for this return engagement!

The Off-Broadway production of MONK is also available on DVD and makes a great gift to MONK and Jazz Lovers!!!
