There will then be a general reasoning later on during the course of Sunday, June 18, (Father's Day in the West)), at about midday. The reasoning will focus appropriately on Leonard Howell and his legacy. A first generation Rastafari leader who is widely considered to be the terrestrial father of the Rastafari Movement so far as Jamaica is concerned. Having been vested with the necessary prophetic vision by the diivine father himself, H.I.M. Haile Selassie, Leonard Howell was able to amass a considerable following in Kingston and St Thomas before establishing his base at Pinnacle.
The Leonard Howell 119th Earthday Celebration will seal up (later on during the same Sunday) with a final night of Nyahbinghi Chanting and Drumming at Pinnacle, (courtesy of the Nyahbinghi House) This will go on right through the night.until daylight on Monday morning, (June 19.)
