Community Youth Achievers, Inc., (CYA) will host an Annual Afrikan Eldership Training Institute (AETI) at the Environmental Village Campus 1132 Highway 548, Hermanville, Miss., on Saturday, May 16, 2009. AETI - is open to community seniors 55 years & older who are interested in elevating themselves in service and upliftment of the Afrikan community. The Afrikan Eldership Training Institute instills in the elders the principles Afrikanization of Cultural & Political Nationbuilding; Strengthening Family Units for Stronger Communities; Leadership for the Rearing of the Next Generation; Afrikan Cultural Rites & Ritual Protocol; and Answering all the Tones of the Akoben (The Horn of Service) - Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, and Moral Leadership Development. Baba Hannibal Afrik serves as the Lead Training Elder, assisted by Master Trainer Aki Asinia Lukata Chikuyu. Every Black-oriented organization in the state of Mississippi should take full advantage of the leadership development opportunity.
