OSHUN, The Yoruba Dance Drama, opens at the National Black Theatre, on April 15, 2010 and runs for a limited engagement through May 9, 2010. Oshun represents the pinnacle of feminine power through drama, dance, song and music. Written by David D. Wright and directed by Roderick Giles, the production, is a biographical, and historical story of the Orisa, from the beginning of civilization until she is presented with the choice of making the ultimate sacrifice, herself, or the world.
