Sankofa Community Empowerment's Spring Workshop series focuses on the Pan African principal, Kujichagulia (Self Determination), which means "to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and speak for ourselves". This session will explore this concept as it relates to Self Love in Self Determination: Black Love Matters.
▪ Our February discussion will challenge the group to explore the complexities and difficulties of loving a people who are taught to hate themselves.
