Multicultural Digital Media Summit

Wednesday, October 16, 2013

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Multicultural Digital Media Summit.

Who will attended?: Small Business Owners, Corporate Brands, Advertising Agencies, Marketing Firms, PR Agencies, Social Media Marketers, and digital media enthusiast.

Panel 1. Monetizing multicultural markets through the uses of online video and social media.

In May 2011 Google did a study on African Americans uses of video online. It was found that over 50 percent uses video sites to find out information about brands. In that same month Pew research center found that both Latino and African Americans where more likely to visit a video sharing site than whites.

So how can brands and advertisers take advantage these growing trends?

Panel 2. Video is Mobile.

In Oct 2013 Sheryl Sandbreg COO of Facebook did a interview on the Charlie Rose. She was quoted saying that over 5 billion people will own a cell phone, but what about tablets? We all know that more and more people are watching content online. Most brands and business know that fewer people are watching content on desktops and more are watching on their phones, or tablets.
