Each year, the Molefi Kete Asante Institute hosts a special annual pilgrimage to sacred African American historical sites in the region. For 2020, MKA Institute invites you to its 2nd Annual Pilgrimage led by Afrocentric Scholars, Dr. Molefi Kete Asante and Dr. Ama Mazama. Journey with a community of family, friends, scholars and activists to Dorchester County, Maryland to explore the life and legacy of our hero, Harriet Tubman. As we pay special tribute to our ancestors, we continue to honor them and keep their memory alive.

- The Harriet Tubman Underground Historic Center
- The Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center
