All are cordially invited to an event that commemorates the 225th Anniversary of the 1789 Edition of The Interesting Narrative, written
by Olaudah Equiano, or Gustavus Vassa, The African.  The 1st Edition
was published on 29th April 1789, and by 1794 there were 9 Editions.
Come along and hear a Celebratory Presentation by Arthur Torrington
who will share new research findings on the life and times of The
African.
