It is increasingly observed among those Afrikans who live in the Diaspora. Kwanzaa is celebrated each year from 26 December to 1 January. This year marks the 11th anniversary of the Afrikan United Action Front (AUAF) organising and hosting Kwanzaa celebrations. The AUAF’s 2009 Kwanzaa celebration will be held on Saturday 26th December 09, from 5pm to 10pm, at the African Caribbean Cultural Centre, 9 Clarendon Road, London N.8 (junction of Wightman Road and Turnpike Lane.
