First Annual Freedom Passover Banquet
- Apr 3, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm EDT
- Location: Colors Restaurant
- Description:
The 13th Amendment that allegedly freed African-Americans from slavery was passed 150 years ago. However, other than a few Juneteenth celebrations, blacks do not celebrate our freedom. The Reparations Labor Union will thus begin using Passover as the time to celebrate our freedom. At this Passover Banquet, we will announce the launch of Merkabucks, a digital currency for reparations, symbolized by a value of $1 billion per descendant of African slaves to the United States. The Merkabuck can serve as our symbol of declaring our financial independence and economic empowerment. Although there are enough Merkabucks for all African-Americans of slave ancestry who want reparations, those attending the Passover Banquet and joining the Reparations Labor Union will receive theirs first. All others may apply for their Merkabucks at http://wp.me/P5UR3S-I .
