Rara Lake Trekking

Rara Lake (3000m) is a mainstream goal of western Nepal. Rara lake is the greatest Lake of Nepal and is a simple trek. The Rara Lake trail starts from northwest of Jumla, following a few towns with a few ethnic gatherings like Chettri, Thakuri and considerably more. The region has little country stop comprising numerous Flora and Fauna, more than 230 types of winged animals, dark brew, ghoral, panther and the uncommon red panda. The trek is prescribed to everybody, and experience the untouchable magnificence of nature and culture.

We will start the Rara Lake Trek from the airstrip of Jumla as we fly there from Kathmandu by means of Nepalgunj. The track passes completely through the green scene. From Jumla, we start strolling to the Padma. We will transverse upper east side along the Chaudbise Khola completely through pine backwoods. This highly anticipated staging takes place on Sunday August 12 at the Louise Bennett Garden Theatre in Kingston, Jamaica.

Free Creative Writing Workshops

JPF 2018 commences with free Youth-Family-Friendly Creative Writing Workshops between 10 am and 2 pm, lead by the Canadian-Jamaican writer, author and poet Mrs. Shauntay Grant.

Honouring Jean 'Binta' Breeze With JPF Lifetime Achievement Award

In continuing the tradition of honouring our cultural and literary icons, the third annual JPF 2018 - Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Jean 'Binta' Breeze, who recently received the Doctor of Letters from Leicester University in the UK. This year's award is being presented in partnership with the National Library of Jamaica and the Poet Laureate of Jamaica Programm
