On Sunday, April 21^st Muhammad will also rally with gun violence victims in the Elizabeth area organized by community organizer Bridget Rose who lost a nephew to gun violence.

Muhammad survived a shooting several years ago only days after leading a citywide march against gun violence.

“The time is now to declare gun violence a public health emergency like we’ve been saying for the last three years and to root out gun trafficking and the corruption covering it up, once and for all.”

Muhammad will be asking the community to support the pending bill of State Assemblyman Lesniak declaring gun violence a public health emergency in New Jersey

The event is called ‘A Day of Support, Embrace and Rebuilding’ and will take place at Jackson Park in Elizabeth from 1:30-3:30pm.
