Screening of new film about Mumia

Description: The Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition, in collaboration with the Riverside Church Prison Ministry, is very happy to announce that we will be showing the excellent new film produced by Johanna Fernandez of Baruch College and Educators for Mumia and directed by Kouross Esmaeli, JUSTICE ON TRIAL: THE CASE OF MUMIA ABU-JAMAL. Packed with exciting new interviews with Mumia's sister, Lydia Barashango, and journalist Linn Washington, the film presents the recently discovered evidence that totally challenges the prosecution's version of what happened on December 9, 1981, and thus exposes the lies perpetrated by the prosecution in collaboration with the police in their determination to kill Mumia. A panel discussion about the film and the new evidence of Mumia's innocence will follow the approximately one hour film. Producer JOHANNA FERNANDEZ will participate in that panel.
