Description: The African Scientific Institute (ASI) and UNESCO are presenting a conference /workshops on June 29 - 30, 2009 in Paris, with the 3rd day scheduled to be held at a university. The theme of this event is "The African diaspora scientific community mobilization for Africa" (Adiascom Africa) initiative. The purposes of this conference are: * To bring together African Diaspora scientists, futurists and technology experts who can assist towards alleviating structural poverty. * To address developing infrastructures within Africa. * To increase networking within the African Diaspora, and also link notable black people with the next generation of black scientists and technologists.
