  • Description: On the weekend of January 17-18 in Philadelphia, PA our Party will be sponsoring the Northeast Regional Organizing Conference at which an overview of the strategic direction of the U.S. front of the worldwide African revolution will be laid out.This conference comes at a time when all over the world struggle is occurring. The people of Afghanistan and Iraq are fighting to throw off imperialist aggression from the U.S. government. Similar struggles are being made throughout Latin America and Asia. And although the struggle against U.S. imperialism is gaining strength, the liberation of Africa is not guaranteed simply because of this motion. Various international forces (including India, China and certain Arab States) are scrambling for a better position to feast on the blood of Africa. The contradiction was laid out clearly by Chairman Omali Yeshitela when he stated, "everyone has a plan for Africa except for Africans."
