  • Description: 45TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MARCH ON WASHINGTON AT LINCOLN MEMORIAL Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development host commemoration WHAT: The Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute, founded by Rosa L. Parks in 1987, will be leading commemorative activities on the Mall in Washington DC to celebrate the many victories and progress that has been made since the March on Washington in 1963. Congressmen John Lewis and John Conyers will speak about this commemoration at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
