Formed in 1956 and playing a big band-ska sound, Bryon Lee and the Dragonaries got their big break playing songs on the soundtrack of the first James Bond film Dr. No, where they also appeared in the scene at Pussfeller's club. He has also had a long association with soca, releasing some of the biggest songs in the genre. In 1990, his long time dream became a reality with the launching of Jamaica Carnival, which has grown to become one of the biggest events in the Caribbean.
