(The Organization of Afro-American Unity) invites the Community to celebrate the Annual Malcolm X Day and Pilgrimage to the resting place of Malcolm X on Monday, May 19, 2008. This year will beEl Hajj Malik El Shabazz's (Malcolm X) 83nd Birthday anniversary and the 42nd year of pilgrimage since our fallen leader's assassination. The Pilgrimage will be led by Bro. Rodnell Collins, the nephew of Malcolm Xand President of the O.A.A.U. Buses and Cars will assemble at the Harlem StateOffice Building on 125th Street and Adam ClaytonPowell Blvd at 9:00 am and proceed to Ferncliff Cementary in Hartsdale, NY at 10:00 am. There will bethe traditional Ceremony that will last approximatelyone hour and will return to Harlem to take part in several activities and rallies sponsored by many organizations throughout the day. The panel will also discuss how the Obama quest for the presidency impacts the struggle for Black Liberation, and explore what might be Malcolm X's position on the presidential race if he were alive today.
