Shreveport, Louisiana's popular Juneteenth festival celebrates African American culture with live music, food vendors and more while raising money for community initiatives.

The 33rd Annual Let the Good Times Roll Festival, a Juneteenth festival held in downtown Shreveport’s Festival Plaza, will take place June 21-23, 2019. The festival celebrates African American culture and heritage with non-stop live music, arts and crafts vendors, regional food vendors, and more.

The Let the Good Times Roll Festival is presented by Rho Omega & Friends, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization. A portion of the proceeds raised during the festival will benefit programs including the Omega Lamplighters, a youth leadership program designed to teach young men principles such as leadership, maturity and perseverance. Live music headliners announced to date for the 33rd Annual Let the Good Times Roll Festival include R&B singer and R&B Divas: Atlanta star Keke Wyatt, Houston rap icon Bun B, zydeco star Keith Frank and The Soileau Zydeco Band, R&B singer Jon B., soul singer Tony Terry, trailride blues artist Jeter Jones, and more. The festival also hosts a wide variety of popular food vendors including barbecue, “country cooking,” fried seafood, sweet treats, and more. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. General admission tickets are $10 per day or $25 for a weekend pass. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Eventbrite.com.

The festival weekend will also include a fundraiser golf tournament at Huntington Golf Course held on Friday, June 21. The Let the Good Times Roll 5K Run and Health Walk will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. Anyone who participates in the Let the Good Times Roll 5K can receive free festival admission on June 22 by showing his or her racing bib. Cost to register for the 5K is $15-$30, and race information can be found by searching for “Let the Good Times Roll” at http://www.runsignup.com.
