A hard hitting group collectively known as The New Cookers will perform at Brooklyn's Dweck Cultural Center on Thursday, February 4.  Reservations for the free seating made online via the link below.
 
Taking their name from the legendary jazz trumpeter Freddie Hubbard’s 1965 album "The Night of the Cookers", this Brooklyn-based ensemble excels in hard-bop jazz with a subtle hip-hop influence. Melding old-school bebop with contemporary rhythms, the New Cookers forge a bold, distinctive sound.
