Texas Southern University announced today that it will host the 2017 “Super Comedy Bowl Explosion" on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the HP&E Arena (3100 Cleburne St, Houston, TX 77004). More than 8,000 are expected to attend the show, which will feature nationally acclaimed comedians Rickey Smiley, Earthquake, Michael Blackson, Tony Roberts, Ali Siddiq and Billy Sorrells. Other Surprise Special Guest will soon be announced.

The Super Comedy Bowl is one of the premier highlights of an expansive list of events to be held in Houston during the week prior to the Big Game. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Tom Joyner Foundation and the Mack Performing Arts Collective (MPAC).
